Hon. Dickson Fineboy Ebegbare of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has promised to put smile on the faces of the people of Isoko Federal Constituency once he gets into the Federal House of Representatives in 2027.
Speaking to the Press at James Ekpre Otobo Hall in Oleh on Sunday 17th May, 2026, Ebegbare declared that he emerged as the flag bearer of the APC in the just concluded party primary.
He stated that as a faithful party man, he had chosen to remain and build the party long before the band wagon defection into the APC by the PDP despite the oppressive domination that followed.
According to him, ” I choose to remain in the party with the belief that God is the one that gives power”; adding that he remained steadfast ” because a lot of destinies in APC are relying on me…”.
“I thus contested the primary election with the belief that I will win, and as God will have it, I have won the election”.
On the report that the incumbent is also claiming victory in the same primary election, Hon. Ebegbare stated that” that is for him, because the reports are there… Yesterday, a whole lot of things happened in the field till this morning when voting took place…”
“That claim like you asked is personal to him. I’m the original and authentic winner of the ticket and I will be able to prove it anywhere and any time”.
Ebegbare, popularly known as Fineboy, assured that his plan for the people of Isoko Federal Constituency when he gets to the Green Chambers is to “simply do what ‘they’ have not been doing and that is, engaging the people, reaching out, creating avenues for empowerment, developing sports, creating mini- industries as well as driving skill acquisition programmes and you will make millionaires from there… So, my own is to serve this land and do something different from their own”.
As at the time of filing this report, all attempt to reach the incumbent House of Representatives member for the Isoko Federal Constituency, Hon Jonathan Ukodhiko for his reaction was not successful as his phone rang out without response.
It could be recalled that in the 2023 general election, Dickson Ebegbare from Ivrogbo-Irri in Isoko South LGA had slugged it out with Jonathan Ukodhiko from Isoko North LGA who was then declared winner admist controversial circumstances.
