All is now set for the final burial rites of Late Mark Onoweme slated for Friday 29, May 2026 to be preceded with a Service of Songs on May 27, 2026 at Mark Onoweme’s compound by 4pm.
According to a release from Onoweme’s family, the body will leave Christian Gate Mortuary Services to his compound by 10am on the 29th May for funeral service.
After the internment, reception of guests will follow immediately by 12noon at Okpolo Primary School field, Enhwe.
Meanwhile, the Isoko Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists is mobilising members towards attending the burial ceremony and to host other journalists across the state to pay their last respect to the late Comrade Onoweme, who was the pioneer Secretary of Isoko Chapel when it was established in 2010.
Furthermore, transport arrangements have been made by the Chapel for members and professional colleagues by 10:30am prompt.
