The All Progressive Congress (APC) party’s local organizing secretary in Isoko North Local Government Area, Mr Abarika Christian, has stated that the party is poised to win all elective positions in Isoko North Local Government Area at the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
Abarika who made this disclosure in a chat with our reporter last week Wednesday in Ozoro, disclosed that the executive committee had held meetings across all wards in the area to mobilise support ahead of the polls.
“APC Isoko North is very, very strong. There is no faction. We are going to win all the positions in Isoko North, starting from the Presidency, Senate, Reps, and the House of Assembly,” Christian said.
He stated that the party’s top priority is geared towards addressing the area’s electricity crisis, a major concern raised by residents during campaigns.
“When we were campaigning, the masses demanded for light. There is no light in Isoko. The former Commissioner for Energy, Chief Fred Obe, promised us at a stakeholders’ meeting held at Ala Square on Tuesday this week, that by the special grace of God, this week or next week, there will be light,”, he added.
Speaking on youth development, the Organizing Secretary, Christian said the party’s House of Representatives member, Honourable Ukodhiko, along with Chairman of APC Isoko North Local Government Area, Engineer Sunday Omonakome were working with the Youth President of Ozoro on plans to set up businesses for young people in the area, though he did not provide specifics on timelines or funding.
The Organising Secretary also urged students and young people intending to go into politics to prioritise their education first.
“The room of politics is open for everybody, but we advise them: education first. After your education, you can enter politics as you wish,” he said
He also noted that as Isoko North APC rallies its structures ahead of 2027, residents say they will be watching closely to see whether the party’s promises on electricity and youth empowerment translate into action before votes are cast.
