A renown APC women political group under the auspices, ‘Isoko Female Leaders in Politics’ (INFLP) has commended Hon. Engr. Ashakah Orobosa as one of the few leaders who truly understands the pain, strength, and struggles of Isoko women in politics.
The group described Engr. Ashakah as a leader with an unwavering love, support, and inclusive approach towards women, particularly within the Isoko political landscape.
The commendation was handed down last Saturday the 28th of June 2025, by the leader of the group, Mrs. Evelyn Avro, during a courtesy visit to Engr. Ashakah, describing him as one of the vibrant and grassroots-connected political leaders.
In her emotion-laden address, Mrs. Avro expressed deep gratitude with warm appreciation, and strong political reaffirmation to Engr. Ashakah, stating that “He has not only stood with us, but has walked with us in our journey for political relevance and respect”.
She assured Hon. Ashakah that the entire body of APC women in Isoko North are fully loyal to him and ready to support every political movement and vision he represents.
Mrs. Avro further noted that “through Engr. Orobosa Ashakah’s bold and inclusive leadership, we, the women of Isoko, have finally breathed fresh air in politics”.
She also appreciated his visible support towards the ‘MORE Agenda’ of the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, describing it as patriotic and people-centered.
Present during the visit was the Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government, Hon. Elder Prince Godwin Ogorugba, who appreciated the women for their massive mobilization efforts and steadfast loyalty to the APC and the MORE Agenda of Governor Sheriff.
He commended the unity and resilience of the group saying, “This is a beautiful move, seeing Isoko North women standing firm in support of our amiable Governor and great party”.
Responding, Hon. Orobosa Ashakah expressed an overwhelming joy and gratitude for the show of love, solidarity, and loyalty by the APC women.
He assured them of his continued support and reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive governance and women participation in politics, describing them as the heartbeat of every successful political movement.
