He noted that while Isoko has produced men and women of remarkable influence, wealth, and intellect, the region continues to suffer from infrastructural neglect, especially in the area of electricity, a fundamental pillar of industrial and economic development.

According to him, the Gas Turbine Project, if properly revisited and implemented through a united front, has the capacity to transform the economic landscape of Isoko Nation, attract industries, stimulate business growth, and create thousands of job opportunities for Isoko youths.

“It will not be a bad idea if our highly respected Kings, in conjunction with the Presidents-General, call for a joint meeting of stakeholders, community leaders, political figures, and business elites across Isoko Nation to chart a way forward,” Comrade Beckly stated.

“Such a forum would provide an avenue to deliberate sincerely on how to collectively achieve the Gas Turbine Project that will bring lasting electricity and development to our people.”

He further explained that while the government plays a major role in development, true progress often begins with the people themselves, through vision, cooperation, and coordinated effort.

Comr. Beckly urged all Isoko sons and daughters in positions of influence to set aside personal interests and political differences in pursuit of a common agenda for sustainable development.

“We have men of substance, business moguls, and respected leaders who can make this dream a reality. The time has come for us to move beyond rhetoric and take deliberate action that will light up our communities and power the future of Isoko,” he added.

The INPLM Founder and President, Comrade Beckly stressed that power remains the key driver of industrialization, and the success of the Gas Turbine Project would not only strengthen the local economy but also position Isoko as a major contributor to Delta State’s economic growth and the Niger Delta region at large.

He also highlighted that INPLM, as a progressive platform for unity and development, will continue to advocate for initiatives that promote infrastructure, youth empowerment, and socioeconomic advancement across Isoko Nation.

He called for immediate collaboration between the traditional institutions, the Isoko Development Union (IDU), Presidents- General of all communities, and private sector players to form a strong coalition that can drive the vision to completion.

“Our appeal is simple — let us come together as one family, one people, and one vision. Let us turn our collective influence into sustainable impact. The Gas Turbine Project is not just about electricity; it is about the economic freedom and dignity of the Isoko people,” Beckly concluded.

He however also stated that Isoko-Nation Progressive Like-Minds (INPLM) remains steadfast in its mission to promote unity, progress, and development within the Isoko Nation and reaffirms its commitment to supporting all initiatives that will bring lasting growth and transformation to the land.
