We, the entire body of Isoko-Nation Progressive Like-Minds (INPLM), under the distinguished leadership of Comrade Ilaya Efemena Beckly, express our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the good people of Umeh Kingdom in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, on the passing of a monumental leader and revered monarch, His Royal Majesty, Ambrose Odiri Owhe I,The Odio-Ologbo of Umeh Kingdom.

The news of the transition of His Royal Majesty, who reigned with wisdom, grace, and unwavering commitment to the peace and progress of Umeh Kingdom since his ascension to the throne in 1975, comes with a profound sense of loss, not just to his immediate community, but to the entire Isoko Nation and beyond. Recognized officially by the Bendel State Government in 1984, His Royal Majesty, Ambrose Odiri Owhe I, ruled with unmatched humility, integrity, and fatherly strength that spanned nearly five decades of dedicated traditional leadership.

He was more than a monarch; he was a symbol of unity, a custodian of culture, and a moral compass whose reign helped preserve the rich heritage of the Umeh people. His voice of reason, sense of justice, and deep-rooted love for Isoko values left a lasting mark on our collective history.

At a remarkable 103 years of age, His Royal Majesty’s journey through life was a shining example of service, sacrifice, and stewardship. As INPLM, we acknowledge his inspiring legacy and pray that his family, the traditional council, and the entire people of Umeh Kingdom find solace and strength during this difficult time.

We also call upon all sons and daughters of Isoko to join us in honoring this legendary icon of traditional institution and in supporting Umeh Kingdom as they navigate this season of mourning.
