Oborevwori Aide, Emakpor Officially Defects to APC

... Promises to work with the Renewed Hope for More Agenda

A former House Assembly aspirant of the People Democratic Party (PDP), in Isoko South Constituency 1 and Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Community Development, Hon. Emakpor Odogu, a k.a I Have a Dream has defected to the All Progressive Congress and duly registered with the party in his ward.

In a statement on his Facebook official page, he said that, “the events in recent weeks marks a significant milestone in my journey as a public servant and pursuit of my dream. After careful consideration and reflection, I am thrilled to announce that I have decided to rejoin the All Progressives Congress (APC) alongside His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Delta State Rt Hon Sheriff F. O Oborevwori”.

According to Hon. Emakpor “this decision feels like a homecoming to me, as I was once a proud member of the APC from June 2018 to September 2021. During my previous stint in the party, I had the privilege of working with like-minded individuals who shared a common vision for our state’s progress and development and Isoko in particular. It’s an honor to reunite with my old folks, leaders and colleagues who have remained steadfast in their commitment to the APC’s ideology”, he stated

He asserted that, “as an Executive Assistant to the Governor on Community Development, I have witnessed firsthand his dedication to the welfare and prosperity of our state. Our decision to join the APC is driven by our shared values and vision for a better Delta State, where our citizens can live in peace, prosperity, and harmony. We believe that this mass movement to the APC is in the best interest of achieving MORE for Deltans”.

He express his gratitude to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the opportunities they gave to him to serve the state, nothing that he have come to realize that the values and goals are better represented by the APC moving forward given the current ongoing in the PDP at the federal level.

He noted that the reunion with his former party where he once had a dogged stint feels like a natural progression, as he continue to pursue his shared ideals and vision for Delta State and Isoko in particular.

He however pledge to continue serving the state with dedication, integrity, and passion with more focus on his dream for the advancement of the Isoko course.

He opined that “I am confident that our decision will bring about positive change and development to Delta State and the long term goal of the Isoko Ethnic Nationality. I urge all Deltans to join us in this new journey, working together to build a brighter future for our state”.
