The Chairman, Maro-Kana Group, Engr. Orobosa Maro Ashakah has Urged his Political support group (Women Wing) to support the Renewed Hope of President, Bola Tinubu and the MORE Agenda of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori , Governor of Delta State for the betterment of Isoko North Local Government and Delta State at large.
The Director General; Engr. Ashaka Orobosa Maro made this passionate appeal over the weekend as he played host to the executives of the Ashakah’s Political support group at his country home in Ozoro, Delta State.

He said “our performing Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has taken a laudable decision by defecting to the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the best interest of Deltans and in light of this, to further inspire our governor to do more, I enjoin you all, to channel the massive love you have for me in supporting our dear governor by reaching out to the grassroots, in order to sensitize and mobilize all women across the wards of the Local Government, that our home is now APC” he stated.
He further appreciated the women for their unwavering loyalty and support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko member representating Isoko Federal Constituency, Hon. Barr. Bernard Odior member representing Isoko North State Assembly, Hon. Chief Kome Okpobor, Executive Director Finance and Administration DESOPADEC and Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba’s Administration in the state and Local Government respectively, saying ” as we all know, No Woman, No Politics.
Appreciating the women, he said “I thank you all for always standing by me adding that our next empowerment programme not less than 100 women will be beneficiaries, most especially those in small scale business”, he stated.
While further commending the women, the grassroot political tactician and youth mobilizer in Isoko Nation, Engr. Ashakah Orobosa reaffirmed his total commitment in ensuring President Bola Tinubu and His Excellency, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori re-election come 2027 as he noted that these offices are not negotiable, adding that on the mandate of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori we stand gidigba”
Responding, Mrs. Afor Cordilia Agbasue, Coordinator, Ashakah Orobosa political forum (women Wing) appreciated him for his kind gesture, philanthropist nature and also giving women voice in politics, assuring him of their unflinching loyalty and support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwor, Hon. Chief Kome Okpobor, Hon. Godwin Ogorugba and APC leadership.

She further said “we are going home to sensitize our women that from now henceforth, we are now in Broom Party (APC), during elections, we are going to thumbprint for Broom and we are going to use our Broom to sweep away every stagnations and poverty from our lives”
