The Senator representing Delta South Senatorial District, Senator Joel Onowakpor, has commended the All Progressive Congress Ward congresses held across Isoko South, as Mr. Olori Magege, Chairman APC Delta State Inaugurates the emerged consensus executives.
Sen. Onowakpor gave the commendation for the peaceful conduct of the Ward congresses in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, while going round the various Wards to see the conduct of the congresses.
He noted that the election was free and fair, just as he urged the Ward executives that emerged through consensus arrangement to be loyal to the party leadership.
The senator who was accompanied by the Local Government Area Chairman, Hon. Warri Ovoke, Hon. Obouwomano Owhede, Member representing Isoko South Constituency 1, Delta State House of Assembly and Hon. Orezi Esievo, former member, DTHA, affirmed the Wards’ election as the true will of the people.
Speaking at Emede Ward 05, Hon. Orezi Esievo said, 26 Ward Executive Members emerged, noting that the harmonized APC members at the Ward level are prepared to work towards the re-election of President Bola Amed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, adding that the party is moving towards Local Government, State and National Congresses for the 2027 general election.
Also speaking at Enwhe ward 09, the Chairman of Isoko South LGA, Hon. Warri Ovoke, urged the Ward Executives to work assiduously to win the forthcoming election, noting that the 26 executive members tenure is four years.
At Olomoro Ward 06, the member representing Isoko South Constituency 2, DTHA, Hon. Ferguson Onwo, urged the Ward executives to work in peace and key into the More Agenda and Renewed Hope for More Agenda of the State and Federal Government, even as he sued for inclusiveness, stressing that APC party members have been harmonized.
On his part, Hon. Johnson Erijo at Aviara Ward 03, urged the consensus Ward Executives to work for the success of the forthcoming elections, having commended the peaceful conduct of the Ward congresses, adding that Aviara’s political awareness is usually high with positive expectations.
At Igbide Ward 07, Hon. Emamusi Obiode, Delta State Commissioner for Land and Survey, also commended the peaceful conduct of the Local Government Ward congresses and affirmed the harmonized APC structure in the area.
Inaugurating the Local Government Area and the Ward Leaders/Executive Members at Oleh Stadium, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, Mr. Olori Magege charged the people to work for the re-election of President Bola Amed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, while commending the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) representatives for their presence.
Speaking at the event, the Chief of Staff to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Hon. Johnson Erijo commended the process that enthroned the Local Government Area newly emerged Wards Executives according to the party decision, and charged them to fly the party flag and ensure that APC is victorious in the 2027 election.
He noted that the party is strong in Isoko South Local Government Area with high expectations of winning the forthcoming election for President Bola Amed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
Responding, the Chairman of APC Isoko South Local Government Area, Mr. Victor Ekelegha, commended the party leaders that elected the Local Government Area and Ward executives to work for the party in the next four years.
Ekelegha assured President Bola Amed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of victory in the 2027 election, stressing that the work starts now in Isoko South LGA. He urged all members of APC to come together and work as a team in the area.
The Local Government Ward congresses was witnessed by the state APC representatives, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Electoral Officer, Mr. Nnandi Phillip, leaders of the party and array of party members from Isoko South Local Government Area..
