DEMOCRACY DAY: Ogorugba Preaches Peace, Pledges Continued Reforms in Isoko North

The Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area, Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba, has called on all stakeholders to embrace unity and peace, describing them as essential tools for sustainable development.

In his Democracy Day message, Hon. Ogorugba emphasized the need for collective efforts to advance the progress of Isoko North, Delta State, and Nigeria at large.

“We must not let our differences as leaders hinder our responsibility to deliver the dividends of democracy, whether at the federal, state, or local government level,” he stated.

“Peace and unity must remain our priority, as togetherness is a powerful catalyst for development,” he added.

The Chairman commended the Isoko North Legislative Arm for their continued support in driving development across the local government. He also appealed for greater understanding and collaboration in the service of the people.

“The leadership of the legislative arm has been immensely supportive of this administration. I sincerely appeal to them to maintain this spirit of cooperation because our people deserve committed and diligent service.”

Hon. Ogorugba also urged citizens to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda, affirming that the ongoing reforms at both the federal and state levels are aimed at improving the lives of Nigerians.

“In Isoko North, my administration is consolidating on the reform agendas of both the President and the Governor. I call for increased support, as these initiatives are designed for sustainable development.”

He congratulated Nigerians on the celebration of 25 years of uninterrupted democracy and expressed hope that the nation’s democratic journey will continue to grow stronger.
