BUILDING LEGACY OF HOPES: Chidinma Okoli Receives Extra Support From FHF

A physically challenged mother of two children, Mrs. Chidinma Okoli, has received an extra support of a day old chicks and bags of feed from Fostering Hope Foundation (FHF), a non governmental organization poised to alleviate the sufferings of the vulnerables in the society, to boost her poultry business.

The gesture was an outcome of the routine observation visit conducted by the outreach team led by the Head of Communications, Comrade Patrick Ochei at Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Mrs. Okoli whose physical challenge was caused by a severe accident that impacted on her spinal cord which has confined her to her home, prior before now, has received a cash grant of N250,000 from FHF to start a small-scale poultry business in addition to placing her two children on secondary school scholarships, to entirely relieve her of the burden of school fees.

Touched by her determination and resilience to still forge ahead with the business, Fostering Hope Foundation (FHF), poised to encourage her further, in a surprise gesture, presented to her one carton of a day old chicks and four bags of feeds worth hundreds of thousands of naira to rear.

On receiving the items, Mrs. Okoli who was suddenly elated with joy written over her, expressed gratitude, with heart rendering prayers for the Foundation for giving her, what she described as another opportunity for a renewed hope, standing by her and the family as well as paying her children school fees.
