Engr. Ogba Rally Support for Governor Oborevwori Re-election Bid

An illustrious son of Oleh Kingdom, Engr. Paul Ogba, the Chairman of Oleh Progressive Minds Association (OPMA), brother of Late Hon. Kenneth Ogba, who represented Isoko South Constituency 1 at the 9th Assembly, has organized a solidarity rally in support of the re-election of the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for second term.

Addressing journalists at the Oleh Okugbe Youth secretariat, on why he is rallying support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori re-election, Engr. Ogba said that, he is rallying support for the re-election of the governor as a result of his excellent performance and infrastructural development of the State.

According to him, “There is no gainsaying about it, he has performed miracles in the state, flyovers everywhere, infrastructural development all over the state, workers are promptly paid their salaries”.

He added that, “the Governor is a listening Governor, he always listen to the yearnings of the masses, he has added value to the state with his developmental strides”.

Engr. Ogba further emphasized that, Oleh is expecting so much from the working governor.

“The electricity issue in Isoko is so challenging, we need him to come in, and do something about it, we have been in darkness without electricity for too long”.

Engr. Ogba revealed to journalists that he is aspiring to become the Isoko South Local Government Council chairman, if given the mandate by the people of the local government, a declaration the mammoth crowd at the solidarity rally unanimously echoed that, Oleh community need the local council chairman, that they are fully behind his aspiration.

“The governor knows what we need, that is why we are here to champion it and push it forward with full capacity, and I am ready to drive the progress and development of the area”.

He urged members of the OPMA who are yet to register, to go and register to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) in order to ensure they vote massively for the Governor in the 2027 general election.

Also speaking, the Convener of Read and Lead and Isoko Need Light in Isoko,  Comrade Ubara Obaro who was part of the solidarity rally for Governor Oborevwori re-election stated that, “from the infrastructural development so far, the governor has performed credibly well, he has shown street credibility, but we still want him to do more for the state”.

He also appealed to Governor Oborevwori to solve the problem of electricity that has bedevilled the Isoko nation for a very long time, so that students can read without candles and businesses can thrives in the area.

Mrs. Esther Jombo who spoke on behalf the women during the solidarity rally commended Governor Oborevwori for his developmental strides in the state, while urging him to look critically at the electricity challenge facing Isoko nation.
